The Thrill of Blogging!

Blogging is very interesting. I have only been doing it for a short period of time. the keyboard is your canvas. You can be as creative or opinionated as your little hearts content.

I have kids at home. My daughter is 9 and very good at it I might add. She told me 2 years ago that she wanted to be a writer when she grew up. I asked her why she wanted to wait so long! She responded that she wasn't old enough to be an author. I explained to her that the pencil and paper were unaware of her age and if she wouldn't tell than neither would I.

She has since written 7 short stories and is working on her 8th. She writes about what she loves. Animals.

I was always encouraged that you can do what ever you want to do! But many times unintentionally my folks discouraged me simply with facts, IE, engineering degree is great but you aren't very good with math. So therefore my interested turned elsewhere.

So parents or soon to be parents, think before you speak we do hear and your words are taken into consideration. Keep helping your children with life's little and big dreams and aspirations.

But if you do nothing else please pause and think about what you say to your children they are like sponges they soak up every word and action you take and make.

Life of my Cats!

As you can see our cats are very different, Mango (as seen in this picture on the left) loves her naps. She is quite good at them I might add.

Mango likes to pace herself. As you see her here is well pretty much the position that you would find her at any given time. Well unless it's time to eat.

We got Mango and Pamela(bottom right) from our local animal shelter. We could have gotten them from anywhere but the kids decided that those animals from the shelter needed home and that's where we got them from.

We also have dogs. ( that's another blog)

As you can see they animals are very well taken care of! They want for nothing!

We got these cats last summer after loosing our fist two animals to old age.

We love our pets as we love our kids.
